At RILG's we mainly specialize in FCS and vintage style Fender gear. Personally, I'm a purest in all things vintage and vintage accurate Fender. But in the spirit of Leo Fender, we also want to embrace innovation while still paying homage to the "Golden Years" of guitars.
 
DiMarzio is one of the few long running USA Made OEM's out there. I truly respect their commitment to pushing sonic boundaries, integrity and backing all their products with one of the best warranties out there. When we at RILG were privileged to become a DiMarzio dealer, we wanted to bring in products that pair well with lower output vintage single coil pickups and traditional style Fender Strats and S-Type guitars.
 
We focused our DiMarzio selection primarily on the bridge pickup. This is one of the areas a Strat can lack power. With that said, if you are looking for a fuller sound, a little bit more muscle and smoother frequencies give our curated DiMarzio selection a look. 
 
The DiMarzio Fast Track 1 DP181 Bridge
 
The Fast Track 1™ is hotter and more muscular than The Cruiser®, but it’s still very bright and clean sounding — not at all like a full-size humbucker. The dual-blade continuous magnetic field creates an even string balance with very little magnet-pull, eliminating the “out-of-tuneness” common to rod-magnet designs. The Fast Track 1™ pickup’s power (double the output of a standard single-coil) makes it highly recommended in combination with medium - to - hot full-size humbuckers. You can also put a whole set of Fast Track 1™ pickups in a Strat® style guitar, or create custom sets with any of our other dual-blade models.
 
The Fast Track 1 has more headroom than a vintage single-coil, and performs well with both clean and overdriven amps. For any situation where single-coil sound with higher power and hum-cancellation is required. Can be used in any position in a standard Strat® setup. Although it isn't as loud as high-output pickups, it combines very well with all of our full-size humbuckers because it has the dynamic range to keep up, especially with overdrive.
