Hand-wound by the legendary Abigail "Abby" Ibarra. As one of the Fender Custom Shop's most revered Master Winders, Abby earned an almost mythical reputation among players and collectors for her consistency, attention to detail, and uncanny ability to capture the feel and voice of Fender's most iconic vintage pickups. Instruments and pickups bearing her signature have become increasingly sought after since her retirement, making examples like this harder to find.

Originally built for Wildwood's highly regarded Dealer Select Blackguard series, this pickup is mounted to a Fender Custom Shop Telecaster bridge with vintage-correct '52 brass saddles. It delivers everything players expect from a great Blackguard Tele: exceptional touch sensitivity, articulate highs, woody midrange, tight low end, and the unmistakable snap and twang that defined the earliest Telecasters.

Whether you're restoring a Custom Shop instrument, building a dream Blackguard, or adding a genuinely collectible piece of Fender history to your collection, this Abby-wound pickup represents a special combination of craftsmanship, provenance, and increasingly scarce availability.
