This pickup also features the separate cover ground lead, making it fully compatible with 4-way Telecaster switching. Unlike traditional vintage Tele neck pickups, the isolated cover ground allows the neck and bridge pickups to be wired in series without modification, unlocking a fourth position that delivers a noticeably hotter, thicker, humbucker-like voice while preserving the classic parallel Tele sounds.
