Hand Wound Alnico 5 50’s Pickups - Loaded Pickguard

Another set from my personal collection. These were hand wound custom ordered from a business connection. Same old school Elektrisola 42AWG Formvar wire like Leo used back in the day. Alnico 5 magnets and vintage stagger for that authentic Strat tone!
 
I peronsally wired this set. I take absolute pride in detail and personally believe the idea that things hidden or unseen should have the same level of craftsmanship as what can be seen. That trickles down to each and every solder joint. See photos for details.
 
This set sports a RWRP middle pickup, 5-Way USA CRL Selector, Neck and Middle share Tone 1 and Bridge gets Tone 2. 1uf low volt ceramic cap like the good old days. Fender mint green pick guard and Fender Pure Vintage Plastic kit. 
 
If you're shooting to build a light Strat, this is for you! These pickups are lightly potted and does not need a full aluminum shield. This combination shaves off over 2 ounces from other FCS loaded guards.
 
These truly sing! I would put them up against any FCS hand wound pickup set or boutique winder. I've heard many sets doing what I do. You don't need to break the bank, these have that airy hallow open Strat sound. You will not be disappointed.
 
Resistance readings:
 
Neck - 5.88ohms
Middle - 6.03 ohms
Bridge - 6.09 ohms
